Good riddance to McKinney. Blaming the media or Hannity is the least of her worries- she lost the Democratic primary, not the Republican one. Let’s hope this is her last election, though I would not be surprised if she tries some kind of quioxtic Senate run.

Paul, that’s a great question/analysis. It’s fairly safe to say that Gary’s got a leg up in the southern-most counties. If those counties can drive more voters to the polls, then Kemp really has no chance at this point.

Here’s what I’ve been wondering about…

Did the counties that Greer/Strickland/Kemp do well in have local runoffs in August? My county had horrible turn-out (12%-14%), which I think was largely due to the lack of any compelling local races. In those counties without high-profile runoffs in August, the candidates will be depending on their dedicated base, which I feel Black has the advantage in.
